This course will be held in the clinic area adjacent to the regular test track at the Philly Bike Expo.
This youth class is free after admittance to the Philly Bike Expo. Children 12 and under get in free all weekend! Child must be accompanied by an adult. Please sign the waiver online (preferred) or in person at the time of the event. Please bring your helmet as helmets are required to ride. (Bern will have some demo helmets available).
Geared for youth ages 2-12, we will cover an abbreviated youth cycling course to include: 1) Following the law, being predictable, being conspicuous, thinking ahead, and riding ready. Youth can then take turns with a balance bike ( we’ll have a couple) or a pedal bike ( a few will be available at the Pello Bikes booth).
If your child does not know how to ride, we have some tips to help facilitate that learning.
