Kathleen “Taffy” Medley
Taffy (@taffrunsnbikes) joins the PBE Squad as a duathlete from South Jersey. Her athletic career began in 2014 as she was turning 50 yrs old when she medaled in her first ever 5k race! Then, Taffy started competing and winning races EVERY weekend! She joined the South Jersey Athletic Club and labeled herself #5kfanatic on social media. Due to injury, in 2017 Taffy decided to join her husband cycling and was immediately hooked! She has since added duathlete and Spartan to her titles and has participated in cycling events from NJ to GA. She shares her love of cycling with everyone she meets and encourages people; regardless of age, to get into the sport! Taffy not only represents the PBE Squad, she is also a member of the USATF, USA Triathlon, South Jersey Bike Crew, Philly Major Taylor Cycling Club, Bethany Bike Crew, Rapha Cycling Club, Black Girls Run, and is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Taffy enjoys spending quality time with her husband, adorable pets, amazing adult children, worshipping with her church family, and event planning.
