Much love to the Velojawn Bike Shop! With the merger of the PBE Squad and the Pro Women’s Race Team, the whole team had access to the amazing services and energy of this awesome neighborhood bike shop, located in West Philly.
A little backstory, in 2020 when races and events were cancelled, I needed an outlet to ride and a way to stay sane as a hospital worker during the pandemic. I reached out to Mark and Bina as a new member of the PBE Squad and they loaned me the unofficial PBE Squad gravel bike. I discovered my love of going off-road and this bike allowed me to commute to work, ride in any weather, and at the same time get lost in Belmont and the Wissahickon!
Now that it is getting ready to be passed on and shared to the next gravel adventurer, it was a no-brainer that I would bring the bike to Velojawn for a full tear down and build up. The staff was amazing to work with, performing a free assessment and communicating as needed throughout the whole process. I never had to guess what work needed to be done and when my bike would be ready.
