“Hello, my name is Maia Paris. I live in Forked River, NJ with my boyfriend and cat. I’m an Army Veteran and spent 10 years as a helicopter pilot. Cycling has always been my outlet and my family. While I was in the Army moving every couple years, I was always able to find a home with the local group ride. I want to work to make my local bike community a place where people feel welcome to ride and have people to help them along the way. These days I’m enjoying a simpler life, working in a bike shop, getting people stoked on bikes, and riding as much as possible.”
