Teaching older kids or tweens to learn to ride a bicycle (ages 9+ to 16) comes with some unique challenges that either child or adult curriculum are not well adapted. Focus areas of this seminar include right sizing bike & type; adapting curricula intended for adults + children for older youth/tweens; age appropriate emotional and motivational support; and continued learning areas such as friend group rides, safety, bike buses, etc.
