The Philly Bike Expo continues to closely monitor public health conditions and will always operate following all city and state health orders to safeguard our exhibitors, attendees and volunteers. Guidelines may change at any time and this page is updated often to reflect current conditions.
The protocols below are the current Philly Bike Expo safety plans.
Updated September 20, 2021
- Masks mandatory for ages 2 years and up regardless of vaccination status (per Pennsylvania Convention Center policy).
- Doubled aisle widths to allow for greater physical distance. (Due to this there is no test ride area this year.)
- Food and drink can only be consumed in designated area. Water is exempt from this requirement.
- The Pennsylvania Convention has a very detailed re-activation plan that includes HVAC improvements, cleaning schedules and products used, hand hygiene locations and much more. HVAC improvements include: Increasing building outside air intake/air exchange rates during occupied event hours, HVAC air filters replaced with higher efficiency MERV-14 filters, Advanced plasma air purification technology for larger spaces and UV fixtures for smaller spaces have been installed.
