I discovered my passion for bike racing later than most. I took part in a Central Park beginner bike race clinic in June of 2018. After finishing that early morning race, I was completely hooked. Completing my first full road racing season last year, I was on the podium 17 times and won 12 of those races, most notably the CRCA Club Championship. I was born and raised in NorCal (Sacramento), which is where the rest of my family still resides. When I am not on my bike, I am the director of the biochemical genetics laboratory at CUMC/NYP and research how diet and environmental factors effect red blood cell quality. I am also the proud mommy of two dogs, Winston and Katie. My goals for this year include working towards upgrading to cat 1 road, but most important to me is to help my teammates be the best bike racers and humans that they can be and achieve team goals. I am so incredibly stoked and honored to race for and with the Philly Bike Expo Elite Women’s Road Team!
